Centrelink withholds 5% subsidy which is not included in this estimate. This is to help reduce the likelihood of you getting an overpayment. At the end of the financial year when Centrelink balance your payments, if you have not underestimated your family income you will receive the 5% withholding back.

This calculator is provided as a guide only. It is dependent on the accuracy of information added, including hours the child/children are eligible for and incomes entered. Changes in entitlements can also occur for a family between completing the estimation and commencing at any Edge Early Learning centre. The calculator does not take into account any discounts or holiday entitlements. Families are responsible for independently checking their eligibility and applying for the CCS through their MyGov account. The Federal Government encourages families to keep their annual income estimate, tax returns and personal information up to date within their MyGov account.
